Sheryl Tirol is a dynamic and results-driven communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, crisis management, and strategic storytelling across higher education, public health, nonprofit, entertainment, sports, music, and faith sectors. She currently serves as the Director of Communications at Regis University, where she leads media relations, crisis communications, and strategic messaging to enhance the institution’s reputation.

With a background in journalism and a deep understanding of media strategy, Sheryl has successfully managed high-profile projects, navigated complex stakeholder relationships, and secured national and regional media placements. Prior to her role at Regis, she was the U.S. PR & Communications Manager at Movember, overseeing media strategy for the global men’s health nonprofit and collaborating with key partners such as WETA, MTV, and ViacomCBS. She has also worked as a senior publicist at Grace Hill Media, where she developed faith-based publicity and marketing campaigns for films and television programs.

Sheryl’s career spans roles at Rogers & Cowan, Walden Media, and GK Films, where she managed press relations, talent coordination, and promotional campaigns for major entertainment clients. Her expertise in crisis communication was honed in the public health sector, having served as Associate Press Secretary for the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene and as Communications Coordinator for the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department.
